Research Assistant

I obtained my M.Sc. in psychology from KU Leuven (Belgium) in July 2021, writing my thesis on the effect of fasting on the development of hyperalgesia. My research interests lie especially in psychophysiology from a health psychological perspective and how health is shaped by stress, the immune system and subjective experience.
I joined the Emotion Lab as an intern between September 2020 and May 2021, assisting Lisa Espinosa, Amy Walsh and Yafeng Pan in their projects. During this summer, I work for Amy Walsh as a research assistant on her project investigating the impact of trauma on reward learning and decision-making in social contexts.
