Tabea Eimer

Visiting student 2020-2021

I have completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Luxembourg and am currently following the Master of Psychology – Theory and Research program at KU Leuven in Belgium.
From September 2020 until May 2021, I will be doing an internship at the Emotion Lab where I assist Lisa Espinosa in her study investigating the influence of social transfer of valenced information on emotional memories after an aversive event.
I have a strong interest in psychophysiology from a health psychological perspective. For my thesis, I investigate the role of food on mechanical sensitivity in humans. Recently, I have started to develop an interest in emotions and how they shape our experiences, especially in respect to mental health.
