Lisa Espinosa

PhD Student

After completing a Bsc in Psychology from Geneva University and a Msc from Lund University, I worked as the Lab Manager at the Emotion Lab for two years. Since april 2017 I am a PhD student at the Emotion lab in a collaborating project with Andreas Olsson and Emily Holmes.

The goal of my PhD project is to investigate how social interactions after an aversive event can influence the expression of emotional memories. More specifically, based on experimental and clinical methods, we strive to experimentally develop and test a social intervention that will help us understand how to modify the emotional memories related to a traumatic experience.

This project is a collaborative work between an experimental research group and a clinical research group, which aims to translate experimental research methods into treatments and preventive methods development.
