Research intern, fall 2021-summer 2022

In July 2021 I completed my MSc in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the University of Padua, Italy, and completed my thesis on the moderating role of heart rate variability on affective-motivational processes in individuals with familiarity with depression. I am currently working in the emotion lab as a research intern under the supervision of Yafeng Pan on a fNIRS project about social safety learning, and on a project about intergroup behavior under the supervision of Sabina Cehajic-Clancy. My main interests are the neural and psychological mechanisms underlying emotions and behavior.
