Lab Manager

Jessica Määttä completed a Bachelor’s degree in Consciousness studies with a major in Cognitive Neuroscience and a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Skövde (Sweden), as well as a Research Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University (The Netherlands). As part of the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Master, Jessica completed a one year internship with Hanneke den Ouden and Jennifer Swart at Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (2015-2016), aimed to disentangle the nature of motivational biases on goal-directed behavior using EEG.

Between 2016-2021 Jessica worked as a study coordinator in the Motivational and Cognitive Control Lab of Roshan Cools, at Donders Center for Cognitive Neuroimaging and Radboudumc (The Netherlands), where her main responsibility was to coordinate a pharmaco-fMRI, PET project on the role of dopaminergic drugs on brain and cognition. In 2021, Jessica started working as the lab manager of the Emotion Lab.
